Solen Crafts began as a small candle-making hobby.

During a busy and stressful period, making candles became a way to wind down. The first batches were hand-poured as gifts for family and friends, using high-quality ingredients chosen with care.

Each candle is made with 100% natural, biodegradable soy wax, using paraben- and phthalate-free oils. Ingredients are selected to prioritise wellbeing over mass production, resulting in a cleaner burn and a gentle, calming candle designed for relaxing moments in your home.

As friends shared the candles with others, requests began to grow and orders gradually increased. Later, through social media, one video unexpectedly went viral and led to a surge of new orders.

Soaps were introduced after a friend asked for something suitable for sensitive skin. With personal experience of skin sensitivities, creating gentle products for everyday comfort became a priority.

Solen Crafts continued to grow through 2020 and the COVID lockdowns, later expanding to include laser-engraved products for meaningful, personalised gifting.

While the range has grown, each creation is made with the same care, as if it were for a loved one.

The name Solen was inspired by the founder's parents, Solomon and Helen So.
